Last week, after 314 days of intensive construction activity, it was time for the inauguration of Arom-dekor Kemi\u2019s new premises which comprise approximately 3,500 m2 of space, bringing the company\u2019s total office, warehousing and production area to about 10,000 m2. This was celebrated with an opening ceremony full of pomp and circumstance, speeches, good food and a lot of laughter. Vilokan Group\u2019s entire workforce was invited and the guests flocked to the event, not only from Str\u00f6mstad, the town in Sweden where Vilokan Group has its head office, but also from Norway and Finland. It was an extra special occasion as this was more or less the first time that colleagues had met in person after two years of Teams meetings due to the pandemic. So the evening was special in many ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since moving here to Lockryd more than eight years ago, our sales have grown by SEK 180 million from SEK 70 million to in excess of SEK 250 million, and our target for this year is set at just over SEK 300 million. \u201cAdditional space was needed to enable us to increase our production and warehouse capacity in order to achieve this target. Moreover, we had out-grown our existing office space and other staff areas. Our new premises are now ready and provide more than plenty of space for all our needs. We can now offer everyone who works in the building access to a fully-equipped gym of just over 150 m2, which feels fantastic,\u201d <\/em>says Christian Lundell, co-owner and CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
