Our Work for a Clean Future<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vilokan\u2019s business idea has always been simple. Our goal is to enable the reuse of raw materials and give them as long a lifespan as possible. In doing so, we conserve the Earth\u2019s resources while ensuring that our concepts are economically sustainable. Ideally, we want to create these sustainable solutions together with others who, like us, are committed to making a clean future possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Simple Business Idea for Sustainable Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vilokan Group was founded nearly 40 years ago when we set our vision: to contribute to a clean future. Our three main driving forces are to combat climate change, address the shortage of fresh water, and increase the circular use of the Earth’s resources. Today, these drivers are stronger than ever, and we see how important it has become to extend the lifespan\u2014or ideally, enable the eternal life\u2014of finite resources, with usable fresh water possibly being the most critical one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we can achieve closed-loop systems, we can both reduce industrial water consumption and increase access to clean fresh water. This is sustainable for people, the environment, and the economy\u2014which we believe all sustainable business models must be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vilokan Group: Pioneers in Sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As early as the 1980s, Vilokan launched its first purification and recycling solutions for the Scandinavian automotive industry. At that time, awareness of the industrial impact on water, soil, and air was low, but Vilokan was convinced that innovative methods for purifying and recycling industrial wastewater\u2014as well as other raw materials\u2014were the way forward. Today, we know that conviction was right, and step by step, Vilokan\u2019s technical solutions have been established in more and more countries and industries. As awareness of the value of clean water grows, and as more actors recognize the need for shorter supply chains and more circular flows, the demand for Vilokan\u2019s purification, recycling, and closed-loop system solutions continues to rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
